I SAW A CADILLAC ELR EARLIER TODAY
SOMEONE ACTUALLY BOUGHT ONE
(no sr20 because fuck you)
E: Looked on Wikipedia, and only 73(!) have been sold in Canada since 2013. Holy rare.

Detroit never forgets about random American vehicles. I saw a Typhoon and a ELR last week.

I’ve seen a black ELR around town here on occasion. Gotta be a medical professional owned car. Only 100k people in this city and we’re an hour and a half away (in the middle of nowhere) from the largest.
Same goes for a random Tesla Model S and Chebby Volt.

Easily the best-looking gm coupe in forty years (or more?), and a better volt than the volt. Still wouldn't buy one myself.

Wait... where exactly are you? You’ve basically described Lethbridge. Supposedly there was an ELR for sale at one of the funeral homes here. There’s also someone who owns a Model S, and there’s three or four Volts in town...

Huh, crazy. Other than the fact Lethbridge is 2 hours from the next nearest city, it sounds very similar.

We’re practically neighbors.
(concerning Teslas) I’m not sure I’d want to own a vehicle so far away from dealership support. Same goes for the people here that own Land/Range Rovers, Jags and Porsches.

I’d be okay with it. Tesla seems to be (or at least were) trying pretty hard for good customer service. But yeah, my brother who is a parts person said the same thing. He’d be hesitant due to trying to to get parts.

Lethbridge neat. Originally from there. Now freezing my ass off in Manitoba.

I’ll be in Winnipeg in a few weeks for some business training. Nothing quite like Manitoba in the dead of winter.

My dad told me he could’ve got one for nearly the same price as his Volt. He sorta regrets that decision since the ELR is such a nice looking car.

I’ve seen one. But I’m not sure on the “rarity” thing. :P
